They're Back!!!

How do you know summer is approaching? Perhaps it's the warm sun and the late days, or maybe it's the bonfires and late summer nights. Well...let me tell you how I know summer is here to say hello.

SPIDERS...they are back and they are going to shorten my life by a couple of years. Don't ask me how they find their way in - but they do. This week alone I have killed 3 daddy long legs and tried to make the bile go back down my throat as I dry heaved in reaction. I have total arachnophobia and my body convulses at the thought of having to try and kill one of those creepy crawlers. Nothing makes me more irritated that I'm still single and I don't live with a boy who can do what boys are supposed to do. THIS IS NOT A JOB FOR A GIRL!!!

So although I'm thrilled about summer and all...I'm just a little bit over what summer brings to my humble abode. Kill me now!!!

So did you know we sleep in the same bed? I love it! I get to coozie with my girl all night long. Actually, I have had to, on occasion shove her over to her side when she gets a little too close for comfort. My new roommate and I think our arrangement is just great. That is until someone gets sick. And that someone has been me for the past 5 days! I have been sicker than a dog and my hero of a roommate has kindly slept on the couch. But I gotta say - that's one comfortable couch. But the best of my being sick is the fact that she went to get us a treat and spent a whopping $17.00 at Cherry on Top for the both of us! $17.00!!! I was wetting my pants. Now that was some spendy get better food! - But I think it's working. I actually got out of bed today and even washed my hair. So thanks to my girl Alice and her spending her paycheck on treats to make me feel better!
