When A Girls Gotta Go...A Girls Gotta Go!

So if you know me at all...or have spent longer than an hour around me you know very well how often I have an urgent need to use the Ladies Room. Well, this was one run to the Loo that I will never forget!
Tonight...my first day being back in Ca. I went over to my Mom’s house. Micah had been showing us all his newest purchase...D.D.R. (for those of you who don’t know that stands for, Dance Dance Revolution). Well you might think we are a little late jumping on that band wagon - but in Micah’s mind the timing is just perfect! It was purchased for all the cardio that will be needed after this little baby is born. It’s not just Lindsey that’s needing to get back to normal.
Well, we were all working up a sweat - not to mention I’m sure Lindsey was provoking many future contractions. But like usual, my fun was interrupted with my ever present need to go to the water closet. I didn’t want to miss my chance to challenge Calin on the next round so I ran as fast as I could.
Apparently because I no longer live at home I have forgotten the layout etc. Well I realized that when I laid sprawled out on the floor holding my foot after having just smashed into the wall! No doubt I broke my little toe. And let me tell you that hurts like a mother!!!
Speaking of Mothers...she’s excited that maybe it will heal like her little toe did and never again bend. Not a chance - that’s gross! Anyways, my little toe is all bandaged up and D.D.R. will have to wait for me to become the reigning champ! Not to mention I had to cancel my trip to Guatemala that I was planning to go on! What a bummer. I think it’s cause this little baby could hardly stand it if I were to take off during his first week of earth life!!! Don’t worry baby...I’m here for you!

Bad Hair Day?...how about for the next year!!! What was I thinking???

So for quite some time I’ve wanted to cut my hair and turn it to a beautiful red...( I guess I really do want to be just like my mom!) Well I haven’t had the guts to do it in fear that I will look 5 million times fatter than I already do. So I’ve been waiting till I finally go on my berries diet and drop a few. Well, I’m over that - so I decided to just go for it.
Briti decided it was time to cut hers too. She had someone at hair school do it for her and obviously it looked darling on her. I scheduled an appointment with a suppossed local hair cutting genius and waited anxiously.
As most of you know, I’m not very good at faking I like something when I don’t. I just kept telling Shep (the hair stylist) that it was exactly what I asked for - I just needed to get use to it. (Notice the picture above just moments after the big reveal...I’m trying to pretend I like it) Well - I don’t know if that will ever happen! I decided against going red for fear that I would once again be forced to wear a hooded sweatshirt if it was an added disaster. (Do you all remember when I got that lesbian haircut and didn’t take my hood off for at least that long?!? My mom remembers very well!!!)
So I’ve come to the conclusion I’m definitely a long hair sort of girl. Ahh well....it all grows back right???

Fat Girl Anthem!!

I’m officially obsessed with this man! Anyone that is going to write a song about a girl that happens to love Diet Coke and Pizza and happens to have all her curves in the right places...he is a lyrical genius! Thank you Mika for dedicating this one to us overly fluffy sisters - we are big and we are in fact beautiful!!!
If you haven’t come across this British bombshell you need to check out his entire album. I think he is the latest and greatest. For the past few weeks I have been at the gym with his lyrics typed out for me to attempt to memorize. I sit and work my quads as I drill each line into my long term memory. Now I have been finally able to sing at the top of my voice with my windows rolled down and actually get the words right.
There is seriously nothing I love more than being able to sing along with a song I love! I have been so anxious to tell everyone I know about him and his new album. I’m hoping that they will think of me when they hear the truth proclaimed, “Big Girl You Are Beautiful!”
